Revisiting the past

This is a view of Hyde Park Square, 2023. It is the private garden sanctuary for the key holder residents of this beautiful square. It is also the location where I shot my first photos back in 1970 that made magazine front covers. The indoor photo studio was my friend’s apartment at #19 in the square.

Today I revisited the apartment building, spoke with the oldest resident who has been there since 1980, then took some photos of the square. The view is fairly close to my favourite spot for photos when the park was all lawn and several trees. Now 50 plus years later it is totally different.
