Today we headed to the North Yorkshire coast for a few days. We started off at Sutton Bank which, according to James Herriot, is the finest view in England (see extra). And then on to Whitby with it’s,own fine views, especially in the dark moody light (see extras). And then on to Staithes. Wow! What an amazing coastal village. Time to investigate … but not before a delightful dinner of cod & lobster at the local Cod & Lobster pub (about 50 steps from our home for the next few days).
