Moholy Nagy
This is one of my student's displays of work ready for assessment tomorrow. It is essentially a photography submission, based largely on inspiration from the 20th century artist Lazlo Moholy-Nagy. The sculpture and it's associated maquettes are light modulators, designed to cast interesting and varied shadows.
There was a strike from a CME yesterday although it did not cause much in the way of auroral display for the UK. AR1748 is now facing us directly and may yet fling a powerful flare our way. Another very active region will be appearing on the Sun's eastern limb very shortly and could also prove to be of interest.
