Sea of Lost Souls

Well not quite lost as we had a guide, nor is there a sea as the tide is out. Just a bunch of hardy souls traversing Morecambe Bay from Hest Bank to Grange over Sands! Nine and a half miles in total, the weather was pleasant, not too hot not too cold and the going was mostly good. We did have to cross some deep, fast running channels. For deep read knee deep, and at the end a fifty metre river crossing that was thigh deep and bitterly cold! It was still enjoyable and we finished off with a nice meal at the Netherwood Hotel. All in all an excellent day.
