This is Bear keeping an eye out for himself. Steve moved the bike shed today, which necessitated moving the gardening shed, which necessitated emptying the gardening shed. Bear freaked out when the lawnmower came out, ran into the house, fetched his bike helmet and begged Daddy to put it on for him. I must have arrived home from getting Bean from preschool just at that moment and Bear came running back into the house to find me, obviously telling me there was something very very wrong outside (the lawnmower being in existence) and that I needed to go and look. Holding him tightly just in case the lawnmower jumped up and got him. What a funny onion!
Had to get up quickly this morning - an unexpected morning working with Aby at Creation Station, helping her out in her hour of need. She was poorly. I was her "muscle" which makes me chuckle! Bear came with me and Bean stayed home with Steve - they would have both come with me, except I wasn't sure I'd get home in time to feed Bean and then get him off to preschool in time. Bear wasn't impressed at leaving Bean at home, and grumped his way through the baby session, eventually I had to take him out of the room to settle down and after a while we went back in and got wrapped up and he fell asleep as the next group came in. Thankfully when he woke up he was in a much better mood and helped tidy up!
Popped out for another bike ride this afternoon. Bear seems to like it a lot more when Bean is with us. Unsurprisingly. He was SO good though, holding on to the centre panel of the WeeRide like he'd been doing it for months. My balance is still shocking. But at least I didn't fall off! And Bear enjoyed exploring the bike when we got home :)
