From Here Health

This sculpture, called 'From Here Health', is by Denys Mitchell and is in the grounds of the Surgeon's Hall in Edinburgh (where I was briefly this afternoon attending a function put on by PhD students from my centre). The inside of the building was pretty grand, I'll have to go back and have a proper nose round sometime.

Very muggy weather today, so I've been a bit headachey. I was remembering how this time 6 years ago I had just moved to Romania for the first part of my PhD fieldwork. I had weather-related headaches all the time then, the heatwaves were unbelievable, particularly from June onwards. It's been a while since I've experienced 40+ degrees heat!
