Ben Chonzie

Up and away early this morning to pick up the lads at Larbert and make the relatively short journey to Invergeldie. This was our first hillwalking outing since our trip to Skye last June.

We thought we’d break ourselves in gently and tackle Ben Chonzie. Sometimes dubbed the dullest Munro in the land, this is the 3rd time I’ve done this hill and I quite enjoy it.

It’s only 12-13 km car to car and takes about 4 hours so nice way to stretch the legs. Plus a fairly easy route to the top.

Made it back by 3pm in time for dog walk. L has gymnastics until 6pm.
