Tiny World

Spent the better part of the morning playing with a new lens, the OM System 90mm Macro. Most of my macro shots, up until today, have been taken with my 60mm, an excellent but tricky little lens. This one is sooo much easier to use and though it's larger in size than the 60mm it's very lightweight. I sold my 300mm, which I wasn't really using and will probably sell the 60mm to help pay for this one. I have 30 days to make up my mind if it's a 'keeper'. That shouldn't be a difficult decision. My main blip is of the exoskeleton of a very small insect, probably a leafhopper of some sort. It was hanging by a short piece of spider web and was flying around with every tiny puff of air. The constant breeze made focus stacking impossible (at least for me) and made this a challenging shot.
In the *extra...a Red-marked Pachodynerus Wasp, Oleander aphids on milkweed, a Dusky-winged Hover Fly and some very tiny Dandelion seeds.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend. m
