What a difference a day makes

After the snow on Wednesday and the rain yesterday, today we woke to sun.  Still cold, but I got washing dry on the line.  Photo taken from an upstairs window quite early this morning. 
 
We spent the morning doing admin – I blipped for yesterday using my mobile as a hot-spot, but now the rural WiFi is ordered, and W managed to find someone who will come and look at our heating system. 
 
Then more delving into boxes.  Our bedroom is now largely sorted, except for the actual beds – and they should arrive tomorrow.  And I cleared some boxes that had been left in the upstairs landing, containing bedding and towels, along with some pictures.
 
Then we started on the kitchen boxes.  We paid our removal firm to do the packing, so each box is a mystery parcel.  So far amongst other things, we’ve found the cheese grater, assorted jugs, and some teapots that rarely get used and have now been stowed on a high shelf.
 
And then W found a switch in the garage which had been turned off, and turning it on may have solved our heating problems.  And we managed to cook a meal, instead of going out.


Feeling much more positive this evening.
