Yasmin

I met up with Yasmin today - she is a friend who I first met when our boys were in the same class about 10 years ago. They then both decided to go to the same senior school, so our paths continue to cross. Our boys are now in lower sixth, and so today we nattered about their AS exams, university choices and our summer plans. They have their whole lives ahead of them, and we try to give guidance and support, aware of the pitfalls that life has taught us. It is never easy being a parent. I naively thought that once they reached the non-baby stage, life would be so much easier for us as parents - how wrong I was!
