Sliding into the weekend

I am so happy and relieved and could kiss my health visitor.  She spoke to the service manager and head of the NDAS team and gave all the evidence that she had and the evidence that we had and they admitted that Carson was being failed. And he is now where he should be on the list. Number 30 and not 800+. I am so pleased I had someone fighting for the jedi, I told her she is amazing and we're so lucky to have her. She was so happy with the outcome that she got all teary on the phone. I'm not long of the phone with her and she will have a glass of wine to celebrate.  I can now stop worrying about the situation.  My heart is bursting with happiness.  

We woke to a dusting of snow this morning but because of how cold it was last night everywhere was mainly ice. It made cycling to work a little scary at places. But I left home earlier so I would get to work in one piece.  
We had a lovely morning at work and went out on a cafe visit. My student was very happy with the cake I shared with her. It's a lovely community cafe and you can add extra money to the cost of your food , a extra pound will feed someone a hot meal if they are struggling.  There is no judgement and you just go and ask for a hot meal. I payed extra for a few meals for people.  I do believe in karma and if your kind to someone then kindness will come back to you. 

My big boys had a great day at school and got dojo points for working hard . The two wee ones had fun at nursery.  The jedi came home with a big graze under his chin. He was pushed over outside.  He actually told me and was relevant with what he said. It was only two words , the name of child and " push ". The staff didn't see what happened as Carson didn't cry but they said Carson definitely got it right when I spoke to them and told them what he said. 

My bike got serviced at the school today and was definitely feeling smoother on my return journey home. Mr R kindly picked up the two wee ones for me so I have only cycled 54 miles this week. But I hurt my shoulder at work at the beginning of the week during a situation and it's progressively gotten more sore as the days have passed.
