Can You Guess What It Is?

It was a bit cool when I headed off to the shop this morning ...... -9C.
By the time Squirrel had visited and headed off to school, it had warmed up to -3C. 
She phoned me when she arrived at school to tell me she had forgotten to pick up her cycle helmet ... it was still in our livingroom - so I walked down to the school to drop it off (she had cycle training so needed it) and then went for a walk through the woods to see if I could get a shot of a squirrel.
I didn't see any squirrels, but I did see a Roe deer. Unfortunately it saw me first and I didn't have time to get the camera off my shoulder.
I heard the Woodpecker a while before I saw it. It was right at the top of the dead oak tree and doing its best to hide. There is a crop of the shot I got (just before he flew off) in the extras.

It was into Costco after breakfast for fuel, pork chops and dried herbs. The traffic these days is a nightmare whenever you try heading to town.

This afternoon I had to go and speak to a woman from the West Lothian Drug and Alcohol Service and find out about their 'Drop In' clinics ...... No - not for me - for one of my meal recipients, He has reached rock bottom and has asked for help.
