Window Dressing

To the Chauvel in Paddington to see Everybody Loves Jeanne, part of Palace Cinema’s French Film Festival. The cinema holds 322, there were only four in the audience. I’m sorry now that I didn’t encourage conversation with the older woman who asked about my book before the film started, then what I thought of the film as we were leaving.

Separately, courtesy Google maps, I found a Swedish cafe for lunch in a courtyard behind a shop on Paddo’s fashion strip.

Separately again, for the second time in six weeks my former boss asked me to come back for a few weeks. I said no.
