Ships that pass…….

…..on the river.
While a small tanker runs empty up to Grangemouth, HMS Montrose sits at the Admiralty jetty at a Crombie.
We were at the House of the Binns again checking on the daffodils. However they are still not ready to bloom so I took a couple of photos before we moved on to Linlithgow. A stroll along the Loch side showed loads of Mallard, quite a few Tufted Ducks (today’s extra) a few cormorant, a couple of geese and dozens of assorted gulls. Sadly no grebes which is what we were hoping for.
Once more, a very bright, sunny day with little wind but still very cold, no higher than 6C. No snow, thankfully. The heating will definitely be going on this evening!
