Distant Mountains

After yesterdays rough weather woke to a clear morning and the view from my terrace of the distant mountains revealed snow. Felt like autumn hitting early but I believe we still have some heat ahead
This afternoon visited a friend whose husband had a major stroke six months ago. He used to be a volunteer at the railway a very cheerful person. He seemed pleased to hear about the railway and was very emotional. It sure made one realise afresh how lucky I am to be out and about
