Chickins !

Last evening prior to dinner we enjoyed as a starter, a spicy assortment of chicken strip pakora from the hallowed isles of LIDL. Very tasty they were too.

Yet a portion seemingly managed to evade us and remained on the baking tray in the oven. No crisis there, except this afternoon Mrs FP had embarked on a marathon baking binge, fruit loaf and iced biscuits for tonight’s SWI meeting. The chicken was well cremated by the end of the session when it was discovered. Mrs FP despaired over the baking but she need have not. Her smoky meaty fruit loaf and smoky biscuits went down an absolute storm.
