Outrageous Fortune

OK so there’s only one sling (courtesy of NHS Scotand) to visually describe Willie Shakespeare’s quote, but only one can only wear one sling at a time.
As other folk have mentioned I ‘went my length’ on the way to the tram at Murrayfield, my arms and right shoulder took the brunt of the force that stopped my face making more contact with the ground than than it actually did. So I managed to get home where things got a bit more painful and a trip to the Royal Infirmary A & E was required, 90 minutes or so later was out waiting for a bus home equipped with the sling above as after looking at the x-ray and seeing no broken bits there fore the only damage was soft tissue the advice was rest and painkillers and to make sure to take the my arm out the sling occasionally. Driving is definitely out for the next few days.
I should really lift my feet a bit more when walking on Edinburgh’s reworked pavements.
