Blip royalty

This is my blip parentage... my blip mother on the left (my sister Daveen, amandoAlentejo); and her blip mother on the right (Hamp5on). They also happened to be the grandmother and godmother of little Eden, my great niece, whose dedication it was on Sunday, and I had the honour and pleasure of sitting with them and the charming A5HA (my blip aunt, I guess??!) for the after-service lunch.
Eden seems to be a real star - calm, good-tempered, unflappable, and very beautiful (extra - though unsurprisingly the subject of several other blips, eg here and here and here!).
Was somewhat strange being back at my childhood church for the first time in several years (very swish, with PowerPoints, videos, interactive voting, very smart decor, etc - and more importantly, clearly a real sense of community within the church, but also being very much active in the wider community, eg via their food bank). Was lovely to chat with several people I'd not spoken to in many years - Grace Jones, The Drews, Geoff (sorry to miss Hélène, aka Rainette, who was sadly poorly), also the aforementioned Lydie and Asha (though through Blip it felt like we knew each other fairly well!!) - and some I'd never met before (like Eden's "other" grandparents). Normally, group gatherings are not my natural habitat at all, but I actually enjoyed the day very much.
