The old road

The old road from Villaviciosa down to Piloña has been straightened and widened, with some areas by-passed by bridges. There are a number of small stretches of road that once bore the north-south traffic that re now disconnected at one end or both. This is one of them. The whole important road was much like this, less than 20 years ago. 
I´m not sure what the large bird is, but there was a red kite about not long after I took this picture.
