A bike ride

We had a good day today.  We slept in until 7:30am, had a leisurely breakfast, pottered around sorting out a few bits and pieces, got out on our bikes for the first time in months, prepared some sugar-free peach jam and a plum and pear compote to eat with our cereal, and I managed to reply to a lot of emails that have been sitting in my Inbox for over a month.  Such a weight lifted off my shoulders. And I’ve dipped into all the blip journals, so am very pleased about that too.

Rain has been threatening all day, and we have had a couple of showers but not the thunderstorms that were expected.  The cloud photos were taken at various times during the day.
