Everything Pokemon

Even the parents wore partial costumes and I inadvertently wore a sweater with bright yellow sleeves, so I fit in at Casey's 7th birthday party. 
How do these things captivate children so thoroughly! Pokemon's been around for decades, yet here it is (or should I say, here they are) again. Trading cards, catalogs . . . I don't know just what kids do when they play, it's not like cops and robbers, maybe it works because they get to use their imaginations. 
The Extras are more Pokemon madness.
