Pelican
My sister caught a train to London so we could hang for an afternoon and evening. We strolled all over central London through the typical tourist hotspots: Trafalgar Square, The Mall, Westminster, Horse Guards Parade, etc. We were surprised by the great white pelicans in St James’s Park although it turns out pelicans have been here since 1664 when they were donated by a Russian ambassador.
After finishing our walk by Downing St, we embarked on a pub crawl on Whitehall. This ended in some hilarious japes around Covent Garden and Leicester Square until my sister announced she needed to retire to the hotel room with a bag of snacks from Tesco. Last thing I can recall was her falling asleep whilst munching on cherry bakewells.
