75% reduction
These days two pints will make me sleep like poop, so it’s even more surprising that I’m being relatively chipper about getting up in these British winter mornings. It must be the novelty factor of being in the UK after a long time, and being able to catch up with cherished ones. And the balance it is bringing from the typical dominance of work over non-work. Interestingly, despite burning the candle at both ends and possibly having a chest infection, the jaw pain I have had for nearly a year has reduced by about 75%. Maybe cutting loose with friends and pints of cider is a good stress-buster.
Here I am at Clapham Junction station on the way to the Woking office, bright eyed, bushy tailed, squinting into the brightening sun with an energising coffee in hand.
