Rannerdale

We walked along to Rannerdale this morning. Cold in the wind, but warm in the sunshine when we stopped for our picnic.

Another couple of months yet before the famous Rannerdale bluebells will be out.

This is the view on our walk back to the car…Crummock Water on the left, and Low Fell in the background. The Herdwick waited patiently until we had passed by!
