Sunny...and Warming....

It was another VERY cold morning. Frigid in fact. A mere 17F/-8.3 this morning when I awoke. But it warmed to about 40F/4.4C by this afternoon, and a lot of the snow...well the snow that's in the sun...melted. The shady areas are still a mess. There could be more snow over night, but with a little luck it will only be rain. Fingers crossed.

I bought these gorgeous, drooping tulips on Wednesday when I managed a quick grocery shopping before the snow. They look pretty, in their drooping way, in the sunny window of the kitchen. And that magical kitchen misting rain just adds appeal, don't you think?
