Pampered pampas

Our pampas grass is in need of a trim, so I braved the chilly afternoon to start pulling out the dead fronds before a drizzly shower and the prospect of the England v Wales rugby International sent me back indoors. So there's now quite a pile on the front lawn to add to the garden refuse bags awaiting a trip to the tip. I was catching up with some ironing whilst watching the match, a scrappy game in Cardiff and a hard-won victory for England.
