Grey Heron

Weekends can be good for the heron as dog walkers often leave it until later to take their dogs out. That was the case today and the heron were all around. I think I had 6 although I am not sure that the adult male was around. The young female was back and followed me everywhere. The crows were very sharp and managed to get a couple of bits of fish before the  heron. All the crows got biscuits.
The shot is the young female and the extra is a possible contender for the young one. She flew quite close and is about the right age - she has a full crop.
