Levens Hall

I ventured out this morning after just under a week at home.  Still feeling a bit grotty but it was good to have a change of scene.  Met G for lunch at Levens Hall - we both opted for the beetroot salad which was delicious and we had a good catch up.

There was a wonderful carpet of crocuses there.  Lovely colours and so delicate.  I am advised the collective name is a 'crescendo of crocuses'!
