Dog walking duties today.  Bertie's owners are tied up elsewhere.

I'm surprised to see skylarks on the Common already.  The grass is too short for nesting right now.  I guess they know what they're doing.

I'm also surprised - as is Anniemay - to learn of the passing of blipper Scribbler. A funny, witty lady.
