W & M and Captain A.

We’re exhausted.  W and M have now gone home after a fun day here.  We started with a treasure hunt on the Common.  While they, their mum and Anniemay ambled  along, I went ahead and hid two treasure chests each containing sweets and a voucher to be exchanged in the local toy shop.  W was convinced the treasure would be found under a cross so I hastily fashioned a couple of Xs out of twigs.  It took around an hour but they found them.

After exchanging vouchers we had lunch at the local Italian restaurant.  They always make a big fuss of children here and it makes it a very easy place to have a family meal.

Then back to our house for yet more colouring-in and puzzles, followed by an impromptu dance competition.  They’re also very funny, having got to the stage where they’ve just discovered jokes.

Q; what wobbles and flys?
A; a jelly-copter.

The main blip has been photo-bombed by a singing and dancing Captain America lookalike — M’s choice from the toy-shop.  The extra shows her hard at work again on her colouring book.
