First hold

They finally got home today after waiting around all day till 7pm for paperwork to allow them to leave. Tainted the whole experience to an extent as mum and dad were both so tired. No ones fault except the Tories - no surprise there - as the midwives as well as being hugely understaffed and obviously doing all the midwifery stuff also have the task of being admin assistants too and do all the paperwork. All in all a stressful day for them which needn't have been but they did finally get home by 7.15. 
We stayed till just after 9, had a dominoes with them and sent them all off to bed.
