Leaving San José

After 1120 km my first trip to Costa Rica is almost over.
A short walking tour of the city earlier this morning, a visit to the opera house where we gently persuaded a guide to give us a glimpse of the fine auditorium, coffee and cake in its elaborate cafe, we are now waiting for our flight to Gatwick to be called.
