Goodbye..

We left our hotel and our balcony room this morning and are now in Saarbrücken, on the outskirts of Luxembourg, overnight. Our driver has covered over 700Km and from our magnificent front seats we’ve had a great view of his dashboard console its lights and buttons and watched his skills. My extra, it takes a lot of diesel to fill a coach tank.

This evening we’ve not had pork or veal, a favourite serving of the last week, but enjoyed an Italian meal at a local restaurant. Seventeen of us rather surprised/ shocked the owners when we walked in but service was fantastic and the atmosphere very happy.

An early start tomorrow.
