Home again.

It was good to be together today and although the news wasn’t what we’d have wanted and Valerie will be beginning a new treatment soon for the cancer that is still growing and spreading, we fitted in plenty of laughter.
My extra is a photo Neil took as we arrived in quite a wind for lunch in East Coker. Valerie is telling us to keep our hair on….

On Friday she and Neil are away with their children and grandchildren for an end of half term break. Something she booked before Christmas “just because.” Just the right time for it too.
