Blue sky!
Well, it's still half term.
Is it me, or is it long?
Thank goodness it's dry.
Decent enough night's sleep, Ben was a bit grumpy this morning but that's fairly standard. We went for a walk to a local gardens with Leo and he had fun running around, Ben wanted to play hide and seek, which is a work in progress really, he counts and then has no clue how to begin to search.. or he hides by standing in front of a tree :-/ At least I don't lose him! We took Leo home and put him in his crate so that Ben and I could go to Sainsburys and also fetch some coffee beans for Mr KCNQ2Haiku. We had to park in B&M so we popped in and bought some teething puppy toys for Leo as he's really chewing everything at the moment and definitely seems to be struggling with his teeth. We had lunch and a bit of a play in the garden and then I had a call from a social worker who had received our referral from school for extra help. I tried to talk to her but Ben had a massive meltdown in the background so I had to hang up, she said she'd email me but I haven't heard anything yet. I guess in some ways it's good for her to hear how dramatic things can be here sometimes but it's never nice to feel on display. At 3:30pm we had a walk by the river and through the woods with Mr KCNQ2Haiku, Leo was pulling a bit on the lead but the weather was lovely! I liked this picture of Ben walking by the river.
Home for tea and more arguments from Ben about how many snacks he wants.
Last proper day of half term tomorrow!
