Santa Cruz de Tenerife

We arrived in Santa Cruz Tenerife this morning: a leisurely start and we walked to the modern wave -like Auditorio, then past the Cesar Manrique park to Palmetum which was built in the 80s from reclaimed landfill. It’s now a beautiful tranquil green space showcasing palms from all over the world. This is the view back to the port from there.
Back to the ship for lunch in The Olive Grove , Mediterranean tapas style: excellent.
We then set off to explore the city. It’s easy to navigate , with lots of green space and public sculpture.
Now back on board relaxing in the Crows Nest after 25000 steps!
Dinner is probably one of the MDRs, either Coral, Pearl, Aqua or Opal with a company show later.
