Tulip

I was stuck for a blip so decided on a tulip - Jenny brought me a lovely bunch when they came for lunch on Sunday.

For some reason I’ve felt really tired today. It’s almost 3 weeks since I got this chest/cold/sinus thing and I’m still not over it. I wake with the sinus bit and a sore throat often in the night. It improves during the day.

I prepared a bit for Jo coming tomorrow and helped Mr C move the stuff from the downstairs bedroom into the conservatory again ready for the painter on Saturday. I don’t know what kind of job he’s intending making as I don’t see how he can sand down or strip the paint off the door and do undercoat and topcoat on it as well as the ceilings in 2 days. We’ll see. I finished my book and as I had nothing else I did more knitting, accompanied by BBC Sounds. I heard Magpie by Elizabeth Day.

Morpeth for the dentist which was a check up - almost £30 now but worth it to hear unless there’s problems I won’t need to go again for 6 months. While I was there and going to Santander Mr C went to Lidl for some veg and fruit to supply us while Jo is here. Funny how all the EU countries have no shortages but our shortages are not due to Brexit - it’s bad weather. (Spain says it is Brexit.)
