All by myself!!

I went for a great walk from Flinders Bay along the waterfront today and when I reached the Blackwood River there was a graceful Pelican cruising very slowly close to the shore.  Every time I see a Pelican like this it reminds me of my dear old Mum.  They were her favourite creatures and I think that's one of the reasons she loved Augusta so much. 

I had a great catch up on the phone with "Wonder Blipper" rainie today.  So heartbreaking to hear first hand what has been happening in New Zealand.  Our hearts go out to all of the wonderful Kiwis who are doing it so tough at the moment.  I don't know how they can ever really recover from such devastation.
