"the strawberry swing"

So the Jersey Royals are well and truly in season but now it's the time of the strawberry, and just in time for the start of Wimbledon in just over a month's time. To say I'm excited would not do it justice!

The year Jayney and I went to Wimbledon, its legendary strawberries and cream had to be purchased and they did not disappoint! Rumour has it that the strawberries are hand selected every day and if they don't meet the strict quality control requirements then they don't get offered to tennis fans!

Also read a news article about how a strawberry is our favourite fruit because anyone will eat one - even those people who don't like/don't eat fruit, they will like and would eat a strawberry. Just ask my dad!

I love strawberries and these were the first ones I've eaten this year. So good! :)

I still remember going to pick strawberries from the plants we had with my granda in the summer and going for walks and picking wild strawberries from the hedges!
