Lots of snow

12inches or so beautiful sunny day with a strong cold wind - 20c with wind chill. We didn't manage much walking the dogs and I. Mainly lots of little walks to get out and be in the fresh air and sunshine. Main walk around lunchtime when it was at its warmest. The neighbour from across the road (I'm assuming) appeared in his skid steer and cleared the drive to the house. Big surprise and so very kind. We've never met him but did help his friend to get hold of 2 of his cattle that escaped onto this ranch in the summer. Husband was quite pleased he didn't have to plow after work! We did enjoy some pancakes at dinner time. House got really quite warm with the sun shining through the windows I turned off the heaters even with that very cold temperature outside!
