Whiteout

Walked the dogs at first light to give them a good walk before the low pressure system moved in. It started snowing not long after we were back inside. I made a batch of Butternut squash soup and put on a sausage Casserole for dinner. Its "family day" in Canada husband came home at lunchtime since all important jobs were done and it was snowing heavily. I took this picture on the afternoon walk when we'd had about 4 inches of snow. By the time we did an evening toilet stroll it was a foot deep in total! Impressive!
