Dunstanburgh Castle

We woke up to blue skies and sunshine today. The cold wind had disappeared and it felt like spring. We met up with our friends Kate and Graham and took Poppy on the Newton to Craster loop. It was a glorious day for it and we managed to cross the sands before the tide came up but I did have to take off my socks and shoes and wade at one point. We stopped off at Craster for tea and scones before heading back. Little Poppy struggled at the end and had to be carried. Home for food and then we made pancakes. Great day.
