The Memorial Rock

The blip refused to load last night and then we lost power and the phone data got slower as well.   Big windstorm.  We decided they left one tree too many!   Get the generator routine, ..ugh.
But it came back on at 4:30 am!  AND the internet too.  Mystery.
Anyway, it was warm enuf today to put my friend Josie’s tile up on the friends of Whyte Strand rock.  She died in September , loved it here.   Miss her.
Extra .. had a walk to the neighbor across the bay, watched the seals from up high.  Did some more gluing on our projects…Tatum made a chair, Fiona a house and a clever box with lid, and is working on a bigger house with furniture.  I made a wreath.  Still glue left!  Pater and Tatum working/studying … and a close up of Josie’s tile..a take off on  a Milton Avery painting of a woman  reading on the beach.  We both love this artist ( the American Matisse?) and she gave me a great book of his.
Very tired of power outages…especially with more people here, but we were pretty prepared. 
The extra won’t load…will try later…or put the cork projects up tomorrow. ( today)
