Hot Wires
First Proper Hol - Day,
Two walks, made circuits, did tip.
Ben did well, so phew!
It was the start of Ben's half term holiday. We had a slow start and then went for a walk in the local park with Leo, he is a monkey with other dogs, he just barks or jumps at them if he gets close enough. I'm looking forward to his puppy training classes and hoping that he gets used to being around some other dogs so it's less of a problem. We came home and put him in his crate for a while so that we could go to the tip. Boring but practical! We then had lunch and Ben played with his Hot Wires circuit set. He chose which circuit he wanted to make and got all the pieces out of the kit, it was to make a transmitter that he could activate with a button so he could use morse code, there was an alphabet and he spelled out "Need Help"! It woke Leo up so he then beeped out "Sorry Leo"! It made me chuckle. We had a walk in the woods which went quite well considering Ben is usually quite agitated with Leo being unpredictable, there were a few moments but nothing major. We did a bit more of the circuit board when we got home and then it's been teatime. Given how stressful everything has been recently, I was pleased with how he and I together were able to keep things calm for day one of the holidays. Now we just have to do day two!!
