Jabbed

I photographed this Grevillea-like flower this afternoon, as we left the local Medical Centre. We'd both just had our 5th dose of Covid vaccine, on the first day it's been available to us. We are travelling interstate later this week, and our doctor strongly recommended we get the latest vaccine before we leave.

Previously we've had 2 AstraZeneca original shots and 2 Pfizer boosters. This time we got Moderna bivalent vaccine. We had no significant side effects from the previous shots, and hope all will be good this time.

The flower, although it looks like Grevillea, is probably Buckinghamiana celsissima or Ivory Curl Flower. It is closely related to Grevillea, and is a popular street-tree in warm climates.
