The Honeyeater Alighted
As we ate dinner tonight I noticed, through the front windows, that a Blue-faced Honeyeater had alighted on the street-light fitting in front of our townhouse. This bird has green face colour, not blue, because it is a juvenile. It was trying to feed on the fruit of a Golden Cane Palm growing in our front yard, but was being attacked by a Noisy Miner, another honeyeater. Which is shown in the extra, perched on our neighbour's roof.
I've previously blipped a few birds on this same light fitting, tagged 'BMenlightened'.
