Fun in Church

A day spent mostly in church, which is not a hardship, I love our church!

Main is of the 8:30 service - Deb having a laugh with Laurie and Alison. Extra is of some of the fun in the 10:30 family service - the church was packed. Deb preached an absolutely brilliant and very professionally presented sermon on the Bible, using her old lacrosse stick as an illustration.

We then ended up getting taken out to lunch by old friends, the Drews, so good to spend time with them.

Then it was me speaking at the 6:30 service, which went OK in the end, thanks for all your well wishes. My PowerPoint (that Deb helped with) was illustrated solely with hers and my photos, some of them Blips.

Gratefuls:
- spending a day with so many old and new friends, who have all been so encouraging and open and kind
- David and Janet treating us to a good lunch on a day when none of us were up to cooking
- sitting round the table with Deb and Sam (who is back from a youth weekend he was speaking at and organising) just now, eating bread Mike had made, with gammon and excellent cheese, and a good red, perfect end to a very full day
