Tranquil waters

The river is quite low for this time of the year. It was my turn to take the service this morning. We had visiting ringers so we attempted a quarter peal afterwards. However it failed when one of the more experienced ringers inexplicably got lost on a relatively simple section of the method. We had a little time left so we decided to practice a touch of a method that we have not rung before. I had a quiet afternoon catching up with the sport and with family phone calls.
