LATE AFTERNOON

As I often do, I went out too late to catch any sunshine and almost too late for any decent light at all. Here's the Headland above the prom looking back towards Hartlepool, and what's missing from this is the incredibly loud noise of the fairground a mile away across the bay! I live less than a mile beyond it in the other direction but fortunately for me the prevailing wind isn't bringing the din our way.

I noticed some plaques have appeared on the front of a few of the houses further round the bend from this view. They're in extras and this seems to be an interesting local history project. I'll try and find out more.
