Formentera Fabulousness

Oh man, I've missed this island! It's been almost a year since we last came to visit. We caught the early speedy ferry, bought a picnic and headed straight to this beach - Ses Illetes... One of my favourite in the world. A beautiful chilled time, added to by Claire joining us!! She'd caught the ferry an hour later and was on a day trip walking this stretch of coast! A happy hour together before we checked into the hostal.
Later we headed back to Illetes for more fun. There's sea on both sides of you on this beach. One side was calm, one very windy...so lots of jellyfish washed onto the beach. The kids enjoyed flinging them back into the sea with sticks.
Home for baths (great excitement, we don't have one at home) & dinner at the restaurant underneath the hostal.

I've not brought my laptop, so I'll blip phone pics and change them for camera pics when I'm home.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Being back in this beautiful place. It feels like a thin place.
2) The kids utter joy at things like baths and empty beaches.
3) No problems taking the rental car on the ferry/changing the booking.
